Shopify Trendyol Integration
To sell your Shopify products on Trendyol, the two systems need to stay in conversation. Trendyol does not publish an official Shopify app, so an integration tool builds this connection. Setup starts when your seller application is approved and closes with the trial order you place for a single product. In between, the product, stock, price and order flows are each set up separately, and the work stalls most often at category and attribute matching.

Shopify Trendyol integration what is it?
The Shopify Trendyol integration is the connection that keeps your products, stock counts, prices and incoming orders aligned in both systems. Because Trendyol does not publish an official Shopify app, this connection is built with an integration tool that takes over the copying between the two panels.
Setup starts once your Trendyol seller account is approved. After approval you take the integration details from your seller panel, register Station as the integrator, map categories and attributes, and define your price and stock rules. When category mapping goes beyond a standard integrator, or a special rule is needed on the API side, Nodus Works' Shopify integration and custom app development service takes over this setup for you. The last step is a trial order with a single product.
Once the connection is live, daily work runs from one place. Orders created on Trendyol land in Shopify, stock on a sold product drops on both sides, and you manage campaign prices through a rule instead of writing them product by product.
Between Shopify and Trendyol what stays in sync
Once the connection is live, product data, stock, price, orders, shipping and invoices sit in the same flow. The six headings below cover the questions we hear most often about the Shopify Trendyol integration.
Trendyol product transfer and sync
After category and variant matching, your Shopify products are sent to the Trendyol catalog. When product data changes later, the same flow carries the update as well.
Shopify Trendyol stock sync
When a sale happens on one channel, the other channel's quantity drops as well, so two stores do not sell the same last unit separately. You decide which Shopify location opens to Trendyol.
Shopify Trendyol price sync
The Trendyol price does not have to match the Shopify price, and in most cases it should not. You define a separate rule that includes commission and any shipping share, and both sides update from that rule during campaign periods.
Trendyol order transfer
Orders created on Trendyol are written into Shopify, so you work from the same list as the warehouse. You do not need to move between two panels during the day for shipping, invoicing and returns.
Creating a Trendyol shipping label
The package and shipping label are produced in the seller panel. The agreement can be Trendyol's or your own carrier contract, and which one applies is visible on the order.
Trendyol invoice link
Trendyol asks for an invoice link on every order. The invoice itself is issued in your e-archive or e-invoice system; the integration only writes that link onto the right order.
Bulk updates, matching and multi-store
Once a catalog passes a certain size, editing products one by one is no longer realistic. Bulk updates, category matching and multi-store management are therefore part of the setup, not extras.
Bulk stock and price updates
You can filter price, stock and shipping data by category and update it in one pass. When you open a campaign you define the rule once instead of writing hundreds of rows by hand.
- Bulk price updates
- Fast stock changes
- Campaign management
Multi-store Trendyol management
If you have more than one Trendyol store, you can run all of them from a single Shopify stock pool. Each store keeps its own product list, the stock pool stays shared, and you can set a separate price rule for every store.
- Control from one panel
- Shared stock pool
- Central management
Trendyol category and attribute matching
Your Shopify category is bound to Trendyol's deepest leaf, and attributes such as color and size are picked from Trendyol's prepared list. Values you type by hand do not pass approval, so matching has to be set correctly from the start.
- Automatic categorization
- Attribute matching
- Existing product matching
How is the Shopify Trendyol integration set up?
The six steps below cover the full setup, from the seller application to the first trial order. Most of the work happens in the Trendyol seller panel, so you need to sign in with an authorized account; on the Shopify side it is enough that your store is live.
Open your Trendyol seller account
The application is filed at partner.trendyol.com and asks for your company details together with your documents. Integration details are not created before approval, so setup does not start before this step.
Collect your connection details
In the seller panel, open My Account Information and then the Integration Information tab to see your seller number and connection key. You need to open this screen with the store owner account; the tab looks empty for a sub-user.
Select your tool as the integrator
On the same screen you pick your tool from the list and save it, because requests sent without a registered integrator are rejected. This is also where you see that some apps only sync stock and price and do not send products to Trendyol.
Map category, brand and attributes
When you pick the deepest leaf category, the product enters approval; rows mapped to a parent category are rejected. Some options such as color open a separate product page on Trendyol, so a single Shopify product can turn into more than one page.
Set the Trendyol price and stock rule
Instead of sending the Shopify price as-is, define a channel price that includes commission. On the stock side, hiding the last few units from Trendyol entirely stops both channels from selling the same product at the same time.
Confirm the flow with a trial order
Place an order with a single product and check that it lands in Shopify, that stock drops and that the invoice link is written. If those three work, you can open the rest of the catalog.
The table below shows which Shopify fields map to which Trendyol fields, using the names you see in the panel.
| What is in Shopify | Trendyol equivalent |
|---|---|
| Title | Product name |
| Barcode | Barcode |
| Price | Sale price |
| Compare-at price | List price, cannot be lower than the sale price |
| Stock | Sellable quantity |
| Image | Product images |
| Category | The deepest leaf category |
| Brand and variant | Brand, color or size selected from the list |
Completing a product send does not mean the product is open for sale. Trendyol runs an approval process by category, so some of the rows you send can stay pending or come back rejected.
Tell us about your catalog and current setup, and we will work out how the Shopify Trendyol integration should be built for your product structure. You do not need to fill in a form, reach us directly by phone, email or WhatsApp.
What do you need to become a Trendyol seller?
To sell on Trendyol you need to own a company, and a sole proprietorship is enough. Stores are not opened with a personal account, so the integration is also built on this company account. Trendyol does not publish an official timeline, but in practice approval rarely takes more than a week; missing documents extend that wait.
Becoming a Trendyol seller with a sole proprietorship
A tax certificate, a notarized signature declaration and a certificate of activity sit at the top of the requested papers. The exact list appears on the application screen, so following the documents there is the safest path.
Becoming a seller as a limited or joint-stock company
Besides the tax certificate, a signature circular, the trade registry gazette, a certificate of activity, a MERSIS number and a KEP address are requested. The list changes by company type, so the headings on the application screen are the ones that count.
How the e-commerce notification is filed
E-commerce activity requires an ETBIS registration, and that filing runs with the Ministry of Trade. It is a step independent of your Trendyol application, so you need to track it separately.
The current document list is always on the partner.trendyol.com application screen. Seller approval, building the connection and products appearing in the store are separate processes, so the calendar should not be tied to a single date.
| Stage | How long it takes | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Seller application approval | 1 to 7 business days | Trendyol does not publish an official timeline; missing documents extend it |
| Connection details appearing | Right after approval | Ready in the panel, no extra request |
| Building the connection | Same day | Short if you use a ready tool |
| Products appearing in the store | A few days | Approval time varies by product count and category |
| Regular sales | The first weeks | Price, shipping time and store score come into play here |
How does the Trendyol commission show up in the price?
Trendyol takes a commission on every sale by category, and that rate changes from period to period. You see the current percentage by category in your seller panel, and your price rule has to follow that value.
If you send the Shopify price to Trendyol as-is, the commission comes straight out of your margin. Instead you set the channel price as a rule: commission, any service fee and a shipping share are added on top of the Shopify price. Because you define the rule once, you do not have to write a price on every product.
The compare-at price must be higher than the sale price; rows written the other way around are rejected. When you send the same barcode, a new product page is not opened: the product is bound to the existing page and you compete in the same place as the other sellers.
Why does stock collide, and how do you stop overselling?
A stock change does not land on Trendyol instantly; it first enters a queue. The system saying it received the request does not mean the product was updated, so setups that do not follow the result end up with overselling and cancels.
Updates do not apply instantly
The new quantity you send enters a queue and is processed when its turn comes. If the old quantity is still showing on Trendyol, this queue is the first place to look.
Both channels sell from the same stock
If Shopify and Trendyol sell from the same warehouse, the last unit can be sold on both sides. In that case one of the orders turns into a cancel, and the cancel hits your store score.
The same update is not sent in a short interval
Trendyol treats updates that arrive back to back for the same product as duplicates and ignores them. If the integration does not account for this, the store keeps the old quantity.
Writing stock in a multi-location Shopify setup
Sending the sum of every location makes unsellable units appear on Trendyol. Which locations open to the channel is a separate decision.
Cancel and return restore stock
A product cancelled or returned on Trendyol goes back into sellable stock. If that movement is not written to Shopify, the two quantities drift apart over time.
Hiding the last few units from the store
Never showing the last few units on Trendyol reduces your sellable stock, and it also lowers the cancel risk. The cost of a cancel and the score loss is usually higher.
Overselling leads to a cancel, and a cancel hits the store score. Commission and approval run separately on Hepsiburada and n11, so writing the same stock rule to every marketplace leaves one channel exposed. If you will open a second channel next to Trendyol, see Station to manage product, stock, price and orders from one panel.
What happens after an order arrives?
The order is created on Trendyol and the integration writes it into Shopify. What follows is packing, the shipping label, the invoice and the return steps; most of those steps follow Trendyol's own rules, so they do not match your Shopify habits one to one.
The order runs on a package
One order can be split into more than one package; the warehouse sees the package while the customer sees the order number. After a partial cancel, a new package and a new shipping barcode are created for the remaining products.
Whose shipping agreement is used
The shipment can leave with Trendyol's contracted carrier or with your own shipping agreement. Which one applies and who pays the fee is visible on the order; the label is produced in the seller panel.
You issue the invoice
Trendyol asks for an invoice link on every order, while the invoice itself is issued in your e-archive or e-invoice system. Your bookkeeping software is connected to this flow as a separate step.
A Trendyol return request is closed in 48 hours
A return request is opened in the Trendyol panel and, if it is not closed within 48 hours, the system approves it on its own. Whether the request lands on the Shopify side depends on the tool you use.
Creating a new barcode on a partial cancel
When part of an order is cancelled, a new package and a new shipping barcode are produced for the remaining products. The previous label is invalid, so the shipment does not leave with it.
An unpaid order is not handed to shipping
An order whose payment is not confirmed is not handed to shipping and should not be marked as paid on the Shopify side. If a cancel arrives, you are left with a record that has no counterpart, and shipping and stock movements cannot be tied to that record.
How are Trendyol reviews and store score managed?
After sales open, product reviews, customer questions and store score become a heading of their own. These records are created on the Trendyol side, so they run independently of product, stock and price sync, but every slip in operations ends up here.
Reviews are created on the Trendyol side
Reviews collect on the Trendyol product page you are bound to, and you answer customer questions from the seller panel. When you bind to an existing product page, the past reviews on that page stay there as well.
Trendyol review transfer is set up separately
Reviews on Trendyol appearing on your Shopify product page is not a side effect of product sync; it is a transfer set up on its own. Which product is bound to which page is tracked through the barcode, so matching has to be correct.
Store score affects sales
Cancels, late shipping and unanswered customer questions lower your store score, and the score shows up in how visible your products are. That is why stock and shipping errors are fixed before review management.
If you plan to carry the review and question flow onto the Shopify side, planning that on the first day of setup makes the work easier, because the barcode matching the transfer rests on is already built in those days. When it is added later, unmatched products have to be cleaned one by one.
The most common mistakes in a Shopify Trendyol integration
The nine headings below are the mistakes we see most often during setup. The results look alike as well: the product comes back from approval, stock does not hold, or the first order goes out wrong.
A variant without a barcode never enters approval
A variant without a barcode does not even enter approval when it is sent to Trendyol. The stock code in Shopify does not stand in for a barcode, so missing rows have to be completed beforehand.
Picking a parent category
If the category is not picked from the deepest leaf, the product is rejected. In categories with a wide tree, this error brings dozens of rows back at once in a bulk send.
Typing an attribute by hand
Fields such as color, size and material are picked from Trendyol's prepared list. A value typed by hand is not accepted, so the product waits in the approval queue.
Writing the same price to both channels
Sending the Shopify price to Trendyol as-is does not cover the commission. The Trendyol price is set with a separate rule that includes commission and any shipping share.
Not checking the update result
A message that the send is complete does not mean the product was updated. When the result is not followed, the store keeps the old quantity and overselling starts there.
Changing an approved barcode
The barcode is locked after approval; if you want to change it, a new product is opened. The old record stays in the catalog, so the same product appears twice.
Marking an unpaid order as paid
If you mark an order whose payment is not confirmed as paid in Shopify, a cancel leaves you with a record that has no counterpart. Shipping and stock movements cannot be tied to that record either.
Looking for details with a sub-user
Connection details appear only on the store owner account. When you sign in as a sub-user the screen comes back empty, so setup stops at the first step.
Leaving the campaign price behind on the channel
Opening a discount in Shopify and leaving the Trendyol price as-is makes you sell the same product at two different amounts. Campaigns have to be written into the channel rule as well.
Three common problems and how we fix them
The three setup scenarios below show how we handle Shopify Trendyol integration problems we have solved in stores we connected.
Opening the full list before the trial is done
ProblemThe rest of the catalog was opened to Trendyol before a twenty-product trial was finished. Rows waiting for approval looked as if they were on sale in Shopify, but they were not on Trendyol yet. The first orders went out at the Shopify price; because commission was not added to the price, margin melted by the same amount as the cut.
CauseSeller approval arrived the same day, so the trial was skipped. Three products were rejected because a parent category was picked, and two variants without a barcode were never listed. The Trendyol price was written as a copy of the Shopify amount.
SolutionOrder, stock and invoice flow is confirmed first with twenty products. The category is taken to the deepest leaf, and a barcode is written on every variant. Commission is added to the Trendyol price. The last 3 units of sellable stock are not shown to the channel.
Colors opening as separate product pages
ProblemA model that was a single card in Shopify opened a separate page on Trendyol for every color. Two colors of the same model sold at different prices for a while. Rows with missing images waited in the approval queue.
CauseIn apparel, color opens a separate product page and size stays on the same page. That is Trendyol's rule. The campaign was dropped only in Shopify; prices on the color pages were not updated.
SolutionStock and price are tracked separately on every color page. The campaign is also written into the channel rule. A new model is not sent while a row whose image is not approved is still waiting.
Writing unsellable warehouse stock to the store
ProblemQuantity from a closed location appeared on Trendyol. Shopify and Trendyol sold the same last unit, and one of the orders was cancelled. When Hepsiburada was bound to the same stock, the cancel repeated.
CauseThe sum of every Shopify location was written to Trendyol. A send-complete message was taken as live. Groups mapped to a parent category were rejected, and a new group was sent while the rejected ones were still in the queue.
SolutionOnly the sellable location is opened to the channel. Each update is checked row by row after it is processed. When a second marketplace is added, the stock rule is set separately for that channel.
Station is the tool we built to run the product, stock, price and order flow from one panel. When Hepsiburada or n11 is added, each channel's rule is set separately.
