The tool analyzes the publicly available HTML source of the store page you enter and extracts the theme name by scanning Shopify's theme information (Shopify.theme, meta tags, asset paths, etc.), then matches it with our catalog.

02Can the theme be detected on every store?

Yes on most Shopify stores. However, on heavily customized or fully custom themes the theme name may be hidden; in that case detection may not be possible.

03Are the results definitive?

04How are recommendations ranked?

They are ranked by their match score against your selected price type, price range and developer filters; in a tie, more affordable themes come first.
