Why Scan?

Invisible errors lower your ranking

Missing meta data, broken canonicals, slow LCP and missing schema cause Google to index your page incorrectly and lose conversions. See them first, then fix them.

What does this tool check?

The Shopify Error Scanner analyzes your store across four main categories and produces a concrete list of findings for each.

Most frequently detected errors

The five most common issues in Turkey-based Shopify stores:

  1. Duplicate canonical URLs: Collection and sort-parameter URLs get indexed as separate pages, splitting ranking power.
  2. Missing Product schema: Price, stock and rating info are missing; no rich snippet is created.
  3. Image alt tags: Left empty in bulk uploads; accessibility and SEO are lost.
  4. Slow LCP: Unoptimized hero/product images push LCP above 2.5s.
  5. robots.txt conflicts: A customized robots.txt can unintentionally block important pages.

Why add a PSI API key?

The tool runs a basic analysis without a key. When a PageSpeed Insights API key is added, Core Web Vitals scores deepen with real user data (CrUX) and align with the Search Console "Web Vitals" report. The key is available for free from the Google Cloud Console (25,000 monthly quota).

How should you interpret the report?

Findings are evaluated at three priority levels:

  • Critical: Errors that directly block indexing/ranking (robots block, canonical, missing sitemap). Action within 48 hours is recommended.
  • Important: Errors that reduce ranking power but don't block indexing (missing meta description, low LCP).
  • Improvement: Opportunities that provide a competitive edge (FAQPage schema, hreflang structure).
