Shopify SEO & Error Scanner
Scan your Shopify store's technical SEO, Core Web Vitals, theme and integration issues across four categories. See critical, important and improvement priorities in seconds.
Scan your store
Enter your URL; SEO, performance, theme and integration checks run automatically.
The analysis only covers publicly accessible pages; checkout, account and order-tracking pages are restricted by robots.txt and cannot be scanned. Results are for informational purposes.
Invisible errors lower your ranking
Missing meta data, broken canonicals, slow LCP and missing schema cause Google to index your page incorrectly and lose conversions. See them first, then fix them.
What does this tool check?
The Shopify Error Scanner analyzes your store across four main categories and produces a concrete list of findings for each.
| Category | What's checked | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Technical SEO | Meta title/description, canonical, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, hreflang | Missing/incorrect meta data leads to wrong indexing |
| Performance | LCP, CLS, INP/FID, TTFB, image sizes, CSS/JS order | Core Web Vitals affect both ranking and conversion |
| Theme & Code | Broken links, missing alt tags, duplicate content, schema | Wastes crawl budget, splits ranking power |
| Shopify-Specific | Collection structure, product URLs, pagination, canonical, filters | Wrong structure leads to SEO loss |
Most frequently detected errors
The five most common issues in Turkey-based Shopify stores:
- Duplicate canonical URLs: Collection and sort-parameter URLs get indexed as separate pages, splitting ranking power.
- Missing Product schema: Price, stock and rating info are missing; no rich snippet is created.
- Image alt tags: Left empty in bulk uploads; accessibility and SEO are lost.
- Slow LCP: Unoptimized hero/product images push LCP above 2.5s.
- robots.txt conflicts: A customized robots.txt can unintentionally block important pages.
Why add a PSI API key?
The tool runs a basic analysis without a key. When a PageSpeed Insights API key is added, Core Web Vitals scores deepen with real user data (CrUX) and align with the Search Console "Web Vitals" report. The key is available for free from the Google Cloud Console (25,000 monthly quota).
How should you interpret the report?
Findings are evaluated at three priority levels:
- Critical: Errors that directly block indexing/ranking (robots block, canonical, missing sitemap). Action within 48 hours is recommended.
- Important: Errors that reduce ranking power but don't block indexing (missing meta description, low LCP).
- Improvement: Opportunities that provide a competitive edge (FAQPage schema, hreflang structure).
