In a Shopify Luca integration, Shopify itself does not produce an e-invoice or an official accounting record. In Turkey a GİB-approved e-invoice integrator is required for a legally valid document. Luca is the last link in that chain. The invoice or income record coming from the integrator is posted into Luca, and Luca takes on e-Defter and accounting reporting.

Setup starts by choosing the right integrator, not by writing code. Luca does not publish an official public API that connects directly to Shopify or to marketplaces such as Trendyol and Hepsiburada. The flow is always built through an e-invoice integrator.

Once the connection is live, daily work runs as follows. The Shopify order lands in the integrator system. The integrator sends it to GİB as an e-invoice or an e-archive, and the same record is written into Luca as an accounting entry. What you can expect from Luca, and what you cannot

Luca is not a stock or order management system, and that is the expectation to set. It is not an ERP like Nebim, Logo or SAP that reads and writes stock movements in Shopify in real time. It does not exchange product or stock data with Shopify directly.

Luca's real role is on the accounting and e-document side. It keeps the financial records through its e-invoice, e-archive and e-Defter modules, and it sends e-archive documents directly to the GİB system. For your Shopify order to reach Luca, an e-invoice integrator always sits in between. Without that integrator, Shopify and Luca never see each other.

That is why the expectation behind a search for "Shopify Luca integration" is usually set the wrong way. People expect stock and order sync, and what gets built is only the transfer of an accounting record. If you need stock and order management, Luca does not cover that need.
