Shopify PTT AVM integration what is it?

A Shopify PTT AVM integration declares your store's product, stock, and price data to PTT AVM. It transfers incoming orders to Shopify. PTT AVM does not publish its own Shopify app. The bridge is built by an integration tool that uses your seller account details.

Once the connection is live, day-to-day work runs from one screen. Product and stock are declared to PTT AVM, and the incoming order lands in Shopify. DATA FLOW

What syncs between Shopify and PTT AVM

Once the connection is live, six data groups flow regularly between the two systems. PTT AVM does not publish its official API documentation publicly. The technical details of this flow can carry small differences, depending on the integration tool you use.

PTT AVM product transfer and sync

Your Shopify product data is listed once it is mapped to PTT AVM's category and attribute fields. If the category choice is wrong, the product never enters approval.

Shopify PTT AVM inventory sync

A stock change does not land on PTT AVM instantly, and it joins a queue first. If you sell to two channels from the same warehouse, the last unit can sell on both sides.

Shopify PTT AVM price sync

The price update is written to PTT AVM. If the commission rate for the category is not built into the price, the margin comes out lower than expected.

PTT AVM order transfer

The order lands in the integration tool from the PTT AVM panel, and from there it lands in Shopify. When the order status changes, both sides are updated.

PTT AVM shipping label creation

The shipping process is not independent of PTT AVM's own shipping network. Confirm the carrier you use, and the label flow, from your seller agreement.

How do you set up a Shopify PTT AVM integration?

The five steps below cover the full setup, from the seller application until the first order lands in Shopify. The first step is specific to PTT AVM: because it is a state institution, approval can take a few days longer than on other marketplaces.

Open your PTT AVM seller account

The application is submitted at pttavm.com/satici-ol. Opening a store and listing products are free. Because approval is a state-institution process, it can take a few business days longer than on private marketplaces.

Collect your connection details

After your seller account is approved, you collect the connection details from the seller panel or the PTT AVM support line. Those details are the identity information the integration needs, and you enter them into the tool you use.

Choose the tool you use as your integrator

PTT AVM does not publish official developer API documentation for the public. The connection is usually built through a third-party integration tool, so confirm that the tool you choose keeps its PTT AVM support active.

Set the category, commission, and stock rule

Map your products to the correct category. The commission rate changes by category, so build that difference into your price. In this step you also set the stock sync rule: instant, or at intervals.

Confirm the flow with a test order

Place a test order with a single product. Check that the order transfer from PTT AVM to Shopify works, and that the stock update is correct.

What do you need to become a PTT AVM seller?

You can apply as a sole proprietorship or as a limited or joint-stock company. The application and the store opening are both free.

Becoming a seller as a sole proprietorship

You can apply through a sole proprietorship with a tax certificate and the required commercial documents. The application moves forward at pttavm.com/satici-ol.

Becoming a seller as a limited or joint-stock company

For a limited or joint-stock company, the application moves forward in a similar way. Tax and trade registry details are requested on the application form.

Store opening and product listing are free

PTT AVM does not charge a fee to open a store or to list products. Revenue comes from the commission taken on the sale.

Commission changes by category

The commission rate is not a fixed percentage, and it changes by product category. Confirm the current rates from the application or your seller panel, and do not rely on old published sources.

Approval can take longer than on other marketplaces

Because the process runs through a state institution, application approval can take about 5 to 7 business days. Add that time to your launch calendar.

API documentation is not public

PTT AVM does not publish a developer portal open to the general user. You need to confirm the integration details with your third-party integrator or the seller support line.

STOCK

Why does stock collide, and how do you prevent overselling?

With an XML or API integration, a stock drop and a price change can be reflected to PTT AVM automatically. Public sources do not state how fast that update is processed, whether it lands instantly or by joining a queue.

The update speed is not stated officially

Whether stock and price sync is processed instantly or at set intervals could not be verified in PTT AVM's public sources. Settle that timing with your integrator.

A product shown in stock can be cancelled later

On platforms for seller complaints, individual reports say a product shown in stock was later cancelled with an "out of stock" reason. Those reports also say the refund could be delayed. This is a concrete warning to keep your stock sync tight.

Category mapping needs a conversion layer

A supplier XML often does not match PTT AVM's category structure directly. Your integrator tool has to build that conversion separately.

OPERATIONS

How do shipping, invoices, and returns work on PTT AVM?

Part of the operation was verified with official sources, and part of it stayed unclear. Confirm the unclear points in writing with the seller support line.

An automatic PTT shipping code is generated on every order

When the order is approved, the system generates a PTT shipping code automatically. When that code is processed, the order status updates on its own.

Whether PTT Kargo is mandatory is not clear

Official sources say "shipments are carried with the PTT Kargo guarantee", but no source clearly states whether an alternative carrier can be used. Confirm this question with the seller support line.

The free-shipping threshold changes by category

Free shipping applies to orders over 250 TL in general categories, and to orders over 750 TL for books. Include this threshold in your pricing strategy.

An order handed to the carrier cannot be cancelled

A cancellation can only be made before the order is handed to the carrier, from the "Siparişlerim" (My Orders) screen. After the order is handed over, the cancel option closes.

The return window is 14 days under the right of withdrawal

The customer can open a return request within 14 days of receiving the product, and the seller covers the return shipping fee.

You issue the invoice as the seller

The seller files the VAT declaration at the end of the month. Official sources do not detail the full flow of issuing the invoice, so set up your accounting process accordingly.

The most common mistakes in the Shopify PTT AVM integration

Not reflecting the commission difference in the price

If the commission rate, which changes by category, is left out of the price, the margin comes out lower than expected as sales volume grows.

Not adding the approval time to the launch calendar

Because the process runs through a state institution, approval can take 5 to 7 business days. If you do not account for that time, the campaign or launch date slips.

Mapping a product to the wrong category

If the category choice is wrong, the product never enters approval. During setup, check that the supplier XML is mapped to the correct PTT AVM category.

Assuming you can cancel an order handed to the carrier

A cancellation can only be made before the order is handed to the carrier. An operations team that does not know this rule cannot meet the customer's request.

Not accounting for the return shipping cost

On returns covered by the 14-day right of withdrawal, the seller covers the shipping fee. If you do not plan for this cost in your pricing or your return policy, it erodes your margin.

Brushing aside the PTT Kargo requirement by assumption

Whether an alternative carrier can be used is not officially clear. Get written confirmation from the seller support line, rather than assuming the answer.
