Shopify Migration Process that Protects Data Integrity
The project we conducted for Fellas was not just a technical platform exchange, but as a process of building a robust digital infrastructure to support the brand's rapidly growing e-commerce operations. During the initial phase of the project, all data, including products, variations, collections, customer records, and past orders, was fully migrated to the Shopify platform. The migration process was carried out with API-based and controlled planning, eliminating the risk of data loss. Thanks to the transition, carefully preserving the URL structures and content hierarchy, the visibility of the brand in search engines was not damaged. On the SEO side, a comprehensive analysis was conducted and a 301 redirect strategy was created for all pages in the old system. It was aimed to protect the existing SEO authority by applying one-to-one and meaningful referrals for product, category and content pages. However, the technical SEO infrastructure was strengthened by restructuring the sitemap structure, metadata, schema markups, and indexing controls.



New Ecommerce Infrastructure Focused on Performance and User Experience
Following the migration process, the project continued with a focus on user experience and performance optimization. A simpler, more straightforward and transformation-oriented interface was designed while maintaining brand identity. By adopting mobile-first design principles, a navigation structure has been created where users can reach products faster and complete purchase steps more easily. On the performance side, code structure has been simplified, unnecessary script usage has been reduced, and page load times have been improved. Thanks to optimizations based on Core Web Vitals metrics, both user experience and SEO performance have been strengthened. The improvement in page speed was addressed to support direct conversion rates. In addition, email, SMS, and performance marketing tools were reintegrated on Shopify, moving marketing data flow into a centralized structure. As segmentation and campaign management become more measurable, the brand has gained a data infrastructure that will strengthen both new customer acquisition and existing customer loyalty. As a result, the Shopify infrastructure built for Fellas created a fast, stable, and scalable digital commerce platform that supports the brand's growth journey with its clean code structure, strong SEO editing, and performance-oriented design.
