AI pays off most in work that repeats, follows rules you can write down and produces output a person can check. In most stores the first step is Shopify's own tooling; an additional tool comes in only where the built-in one falls short.
Shopify Magic handles tasks such as product descriptions, email subject lines and image background edits inside the admin at no extra cost. Sidekick is the admin assistant that looks at your store data, answers questions and suggests actions: you can ask which product had more returns last month without opening a report. Together with your team, we decide which tasks go to these two tools and where an external tool is needed.
When category metafields such as material, color and size are filled in, the description is written from that data in your brand voice. Technical specs and measurements go through human approval.
Repetitive questions such as order status, shipment tracking and return conditions are answered automatically; return approvals, pricing and discounts are handed to a person.
ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews quote clear, structured product information. Structured data is prepared with Seodus, and the llms.txt file that summarizes the site with the llms.txt tool.

Every ad platform records the sale in its own dashboard, so the same order can show up in more than one channel. It validates the delivery address the customer enters with AI, so an incomplete or inconsistent address becomes visible before the order is prepared. The same app also sets up the KVKK consent field, the ETBİS logo and the distance sales agreement email. Because address validation is a flow that works with personal data, it also appears in the data rules below.

Shopify is expanding the features and language support of Shopify Magic and Sidekick in stages; before setup, we check which features are enabled in your store.
DTF Town runs a high-volume, multi-step printing and delivery operation. We built a custom management panel that syncs with Shopify in real time; orders created in-house are evaluated in this panel with AI-assisted analysis.
Any data sent to an AI tool is processed on that tool's servers. That is why the first document we write during setup is a short list of rules showing which data may go to which tool.
Product descriptions, image scenes, category copy and ad creatives are produced without customer data. For this work, only product information is sent to the tool.
Chatbots, personalization and email segmentation touch customer data. Before a tool is chosen, we review its data retention period, whether it uses data for model training and where its servers are located.
Sending personal data to a tool with servers outside Türkiye counts as a cross-border transfer under KVKK and is subject to the conditions the law sets. We do not set up these flows without your approval as the data controller.
Name, phone number, address and order history are not sent to a tool unless they are required. For a flow that answers a shipping question, the order number and shipment status are enough.
If an AI-assisted chat tool talks to customers, this is stated in the privacy notice and the privacy policy; a tool that uses cookies does not start before consent is given.
What the team may paste into which tool, the brand voice guide and the approval flow are written on a single page. A new tool is not used until it is on this list.
