Delta Clothing: Wholesale Automation on Shopify

Delta Clothing is a US wholesaler selling blank apparel to print shops, brands and individual customers. Its catalog includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and caps from brands such as Gildan, Comfort Colors, Next Level, Tultex, Rabbit Skins and Flexfit.

In this business, one product means dozens of size and colour variants, and the stock for each variant is spread across warehouses in different US states. A wholesale buyer wants hundreds of units of the same style in different sizes and colours in a single order, and wants to see how much stock each warehouse holds before ordering. A standard Shopify product page could not meet that need.

Pricing was a separate issue. Wholesale prices could not be public; they had to be shown only to approved businesses, according to their tier. While building the store on Shopify, our goal was to combine approved accounts, tiered pricing and stock by warehouse into one buying experience with custom software.
