Best Shopify Apps 2026 | 70+ App Review

Best apps for Shopify: 70+ apps across 28 categories; with prices, pros, cons, and real-world use cases. A complete guide from KVKK to shipping.

No items found.

There are over 13,000 apps in the Shopify App Store, and choosing the right ones directly impacts your revenue, conversion, and operational burden. In this guide, we've individually reviewed over 70 apps across 28 categories, detailing their features, pros, cons, and less obvious use cases. In each category, we've honestly evaluated both the apps we developed ourselves at Nodus Works (most of which are free and specific to Turkey) and globally proven alternatives. You can jump directly to the category you need from the table of contents below.

Pricing and plan alert: All prices, plan names, and features in this article as of July 2026 are current. App providers regularly update their plans, prices, and free tiers. Before making a decision, please confirm the current figures on the respective app's Shopify App Store page.

This guide was prepared by the Nodus Works team. Since 2020, as an official Shopify Partner agency, we have been setting up, migrating, and growing Shopify and Shopify Plus stores for brands like Dossha, Les Benjamins, Karaca, and Şölen. We have also developed over 15 apps published on the App Store. The evaluations below are based on our experience installing these apps in real stores and observing them live.

Why is the Shopify App Ecosystem So Critical?

Shopify's true power comes not so much from its core platform, but from the app ecosystem that complements it. No matter how good your theme is, most needs like legal compliance, SEO schema, wishlists, loyalty programs, shipping integrations, or ad attribution are solved with the right apps. In 2026, the landscape changed in two ways. Firstly, thanks to the Built for Shopify certification and new checkout extensions, apps are now much more natively and quickly integrated into your store. Secondly, with Google's transition to AI-powered search and the era of GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), structured data and content quality have become more important than ever for visibility.

As a team that has been setting up and managing stores for many years, let's share three fundamental rules from the outset. Firstly, calculate pricing not based on the "initial fee," but on the total cost as your store grows. Secondly, prefer apps that utilize Shopify's native infrastructure (Functions, Markets, Flow) as much as possible; these are both faster and more resilient to updates. The third rule is so critical that we want to emphasize it separately:

Risk to Avoid: Never install two apps that perform the same function on top of each other. Especially in SEO/schema, currency, and page builder categories, duplicate code leads to duplicate schema errors, incorrect price display, and measurable speed loss. Before installing a new app, merely deactivating the old one that performs the same function is not enough; completely remove it along with any residual code in your theme.

Now, let's move on to the categories.

1. Legal Compliance Apps (KVKK, Distance Sales, ETBİS)

For every store selling in Turkey, KVKK disclosure text, explicit consent, distance sales agreement, and ETBİS registration are legal requirements. For international sales, GDPR and CCPA cookie consent come into play. In this category, local and global needs must be addressed separately.

CompliTR

Developed by Nodus Works, CompliTR, automates compliance for stores operating in Turkey within a single panel: automatic checkboxes for KVKK and distance sales, editable legal text management, and ETBİS logo integration. Since it's specifically written for Turkish legislation, it covers details that generic EU tools might miss.

  • Pros: Fully compliant with Turkish legislation, has a free plan, takes minutes to set up, and keeps consent records at checkout.
  • Cons: Given its focus on Turkey, if extensive multinational EU/US cookie management is required, a tool like iubenda might be needed as a complementary solution.

Example scenario: A store that registered thousands of new customers on Black Friday can legally justify sending an SMS campaign to this audience at the end of the month, as explicit KVKK consent was recorded with every order.

Termly

US-based Termly stands out with 10 different attorney-approved policy generators (privacy, cookie, EULA, accessibility, etc.) and a cookie consent banner. It is compatible with Google Consent Mode v2 and IAB TCF.

  • Pros: Numerous ready-made policy templates, a simple flow for non-technical users, a free plan, Starter approximately $10/month (annual).
  • Cons: Limited in-depth legal coverage specific to the EU, not specific to Turkish legislation, per-site pricing can quickly increase with multiple domains.

Example scenario: If a Shopify brand that also sells to the US wants to generate and keep privacy and return policy texts up-to-date from a single source, Termly's template library offers a quick start.

iubenda

Italy-based iubenda is known for its depth in EU law: support for up to 27 languages, cookie solution, DSAR management, accessibility widget, and consent record retention for up to 5 years. Plans start from approximately €4.99/month.

  • Pros: Strong EU compliance, multilingual structure, comprehensive consent record, a broad compliance suite in a single subscription.
  • Cons: Cost quickly increases with more features and page views, not as focused on Turkey as CompliTR.

Example scenario: When a brand selling multi-nationally to Germany and France wants to keep different cookie texts and consent records audit-ready in each country, iubenda's 5-year record retention acts as an insurance policy.

2. SEO and Structured Data (Schema) Applications

Shopify themes often generate incomplete or incorrect JSON-LD. Accurate structured data is critical for Google rich results, Merchant Center compliance, and visibility in AI searches. Using a single schema application in this category is the golden rule for preventing duplicate code.

Seodus

Developed by Nodus Works, Seodus, creates and manages structured data (JSON-LD) for your store: product schema, FAQ schema, breadcrumb navigation, and internal link management all under one roof. It focuses on enhancing rich search results and improving on-site link architecture.

  • Pros: It has a free plan, offers breadcrumb and schema together, the internal link module helps with SEO authority distribution, and it's lightweight.
  • Cons: For those who want extensive SEO suite features like bulk meta tag editing or broken link scanning, it can be complemented with Smart SEO.

Example scenario: By adding FAQ schema to high-intent category pages, you can gain visibility in "Related questions" and AI answer boxes for long-tail Turkish queries like "how to return shopify".

Smart SEO

Smart SEO is an all-in-one tool that offers structured data as part of a broader SEO package: template-based meta tags, JSON-LD (Product, FAQ, BreadcrumbList), automatic hreflang tags, and broken link scanning.

  • Pros: Strong hreflang management for multilingual stores, combines meta tags and schema in a single application, includes technical SEO tools like broken link scanning.
  • Cons: Meta tags are template-based (not unique content-driven generation), rising to about $19.99/month on full-suite business plans.

Example scenario: A store selling in multiple languages with Shopify Markets automatically generates hreflang tags for each language version without manual effort, preventing one of the most common mistakes in international SEO from the outset.

JSON-LD for SEO

As its name suggests: a specialized application focused solely on structured data. It offers broad schema coverage including product, review, blog, breadcrumb, recipe, video, and FAQ, is compatible with Google Merchant Center, and continuously monitors your rich results.

  • Pros: One of the tools with the deepest schema coverage in the industry, strong Merchant Center compatibility, provides post-setup data monitoring, and is affordable (starting from approximately $2.99).
  • Cons: Focuses solely on schema; do not expect meta tag or content optimization. Its interface may seem technical.

Example scenario: A food brand attracting traffic with recipe content fully implements Recipe and How-To schema types, earning visually rich result cards on Google.

3. Wishlist and Back in Stock Apps

Wishlists capture purchase intent, while back-in-stock notifications convert demand for out-of-stock products into revenue. Together, they recover a significant portion of lost sales.

Wishalert

Developed by Nodus Works, Wishalert, allows customers to add products to their wishlists and receive notifications when they are back in stock, while also enabling you to track wishlist revenue, engagement, AOV, and order count from a single panel. Its API-friendly structure also works with headless and custom storefront setups.

  • Pros: Combines wishlist and stock notification in one app, offers revenue reporting, has a free plan, works with headless stores.
  • Cons: Its list of third-party ESP integrations may not be as extensive as Swym's yet; for advanced segmentation with very large lists, it might need to be paired with an external email tool.

Example scenario: You can use wishlist data not just for notifications, but also for purchase planning: by prioritizing SKUs that are most wishlisted but out of stock, you can decide which product to reorder first.

Swym Wishlist Plus

Swym Wishlist Plus is a fully-featured wishlist solution: multi-list, anonymous wishlists, price drop and restock alerts, email, SMS, and social sharing. It integrates with Klaviyo, Attentive, Tapcart, and Shopify POS.

  • Pros: Mature feature set, extensive integration ecosystem, REST/JS API, in-store wishlist access via POS.
  • Cons: Pricing scales with the number of monthly wishlist actions (starting at approximately $29.99/month) and increases as volume grows.

Example scenario: In-store sales staff can view a customer's online wishlist via POS and recommend relevant products in the physical store, thus unifying the online and offline experience.

Swym Back in Stock

Swym Back in Stock focuses solely on stock notifications: a "Notify Me" button added in minutes, automatic email/SMS restock alerts, preorders, and AI-powered alternative product recommendations.

  • Pros: It has a free tier, is very quick to set up, collects demand via preorders before stock arrives, and integrates with Klaviyo and Omnisend.
  • Cons: No wishlist feature (only stock notification), advanced features are unlocked in higher plans.

Example scenario: A limited-edition shoe brand collects a "coming soon" list for out-of-stock sizes and measures demand before a new batch arrives to decide how much to produce.

4. Collection Automation Applications

Manually creating collections and linking them to menus in growing catalogs is a waste of time and a source of errors. Automation makes this process rule-based.

Collection Wizard

Developed by Nodus Works, Collection Wizardautomatically creates smart collections based on your store menus. It eliminates the hassle of creating and linking collections one by one, generating collections that fit your menu structure with a single click.

  • Pros: Completely free, very easy to set up, directly converts your menu structure into collections, and saves significant time for newly launched stores.
  • Cons: Its focus is on generating collections from menus, not for very complex marketing automations.

Example scenario: When you reorganize your menu with seasonal headings like "Christmas Gifts" before a holiday campaign, the relevant collections are automatically created within minutes before the campaign starts.

Automizely (rule-based collection tools)

Automizely Collections and similar rule-based tools aim to create and maintain automatic collections based on conditions such as tags, product type, stock status, or price. They usually come as part of broader marketing suites.

  • Pros: Rule-based automatic collection, often additional tools like email and pop-up in the same suite, free to start.
  • Cons: Collection automation is priced with the rest of the package; it's overkill if you're only looking for collection generation.

Example scenario: You can set up a dynamic "New Arrivals" collection, such as "Products added in the last 30 days," and keep it automatically updated without manual intervention as the catalog is updated.

5. Collection Sorting Apps

The order of products within a collection directly affects conversion: best-sellers should be at the top, out-of-stock items at the bottom. Manual sorting, however, does not scale.

Collection Sorting Master

Developed by Nodus Works, Collection Sorting Master, allows you to manage collection sorting from a single panel with flexible rules, analytics, and bulk editing. It automatically pushes out-of-stock products to the bottom and highlights best-sellers.

  • Pros: Flexible sorting rules, analytics, bulk editing, free trial, continuously optimizes storefront layout without manual effort.
  • Cons: Its benefit is more pronounced in stores with large catalogs; manual sorting might suffice for smaller storefronts.

Example scenario: At the end of the season, you can automatically move products nearing their shelf life or with excess stock to the top using rules, thereby accelerating their clearance and clearing excess stock without running campaigns.

Collection Sort and competitor sorting tools

Other collection sorting applications on the market operate on a similar principle: they establish automatic sorting rules based on criteria such as best-selling, revenue, stock level, new arrival date, or profit margin, and re-sort at regular intervals.

  • Pros: Diverse sorting criteria, scheduled re-sorting, most are affordable.
  • Cons: Some tools may affect theme speed, analytical depth varies, rule diversity differs from app to app.

Example scenario: By setting a rule that moves high-profit margin products to the top of each collection, you increase the visibility of more profitable items with the same traffic.

6. Wholesale / B2B Applications

For those who want to sell both retail and wholesale in the same store, customer group-specific pricing, MOQ (minimum order quantity), and net terms are critical features.

Easy Wholesale & B2B

Developed by Nodus Works, Easy Wholesale & B2B, allows you to define special wholesale prices for B2B customer groups and automatically applies these prices at checkout with Shopify Functions; no discount code needed.

  • Pros: Automatic pricing at checkout with Shopify Functions, no hassle with discount codes, runs retail and wholesale in a single store, it's free.
  • Cons: It does not aim for enterprise features found in comprehensive suites like BSS, such as net terms, multi-step registration forms, or ERP APIs; it's a streamlined layer.

Example scenario: A brand selling to both end consumers and dealers allows dealers to see net dealer prices directly at checkout when they log in, without needing a separate B2B site.

Wholesale Hub (formerly Wholesale Club)

Wholesale Hub instantly displays wholesale prices to the customer group you've tagged. It offers percentage-based discounts or special prices per variant, order minimums (MOQ) based on cart value/quantity, a quick order form, net terms, and POS support.

  • Pros: Quick setup, MOQ and net terms support, quick order form, POS compatibility, starts at approximately $39/month.
  • Cons: Most advanced features are unlocked in higher plans; BSS is more flexible for very complex price lists.

Example scenario: For wholesale customers, you enforce a "minimum 12 units" rule in the cart, and for the same customers, you offer Net 30 terms, invoice them, and then collect payment.

BSS B2B Wholesale Solution

BSS B2B is a comprehensive all-in-one B2B suite: custom price lists by customer group, tiered/volume discounts, wholesale registration forms with approval workflows, order limits, tax exemption, and VAT support. It offers a public API and ERP integration.

  • Pros: Very extensive B2B feature set, ERP integration, complex price lists, starts at approximately $25/month.
  • Cons: Setup and management require more effort; it might be overly comprehensive for small stores.

Example scenario: A manufacturer that maintains separate price lists for different dealer segments in its ERP system synchronizes these lists with Shopify via API and automatically displays each dealer their specific pricing.

7. Variant Management Applications

The order and appearance of options like size and color are important for both catalog consistency and conversion.

Bulk Variant Options Reorder

Developed by Nodus Works, Bulk Variant Options Reorder, standardizes the variant option order (e.g., Size first, then Color) across your entire catalog with a single rule. It runs as a bulk background job and offers undo support.

  • Pros: Consistency across the entire catalog with a single rule, background jobs, undo support, free plan available.
  • Cons: It's a niche task (variant order only); for those who want swatch display, it must be complemented with Color Swatch King.

Example scenario: In a catalog of 5,000 products where variant orders are mixed up after a CSV import from a supplier, you can move the "Size" option to the first position for every product in a single go before a theme transition.

Color Swatch King

Color Swatch King transforms boring dropdown menus into visual swatches: color swatches, custom image swatches, and variant image swatches. It also displays swatches on collection pages, adds prices and badges, hides out-of-stock variants, and allows bulk swatch uploads via CSV.

  • Pros: Swatches on collection pages, CSV bulk upload, hiding out-of-stock items, Shopify Markets and B2B compatibility, free plan available.
  • Cons: Fine-tuning may be required for theme compatibility with extensive customization; too many swatches can make collection pages visually cluttered.

Example scenario: By displaying fabric textures as swatches on the collection page, you enable mobile users to visually filter without entering the product page, and you reduce bounce rates.

8. Product and Catalog Editing Applications

It's impossible to edit hundreds or thousands of products one by one. Bulk editing, import/export, and migration tools are the backbone of operations, from price updates to platform migration.

Matrixify (formerly Excelify)

Matrixify is the most comprehensive spreadsheet-based data management tool: it imports/exports product, variant, metafield, order, customer, collection, page, and blog data using Excel, Google Sheets, or CSV. It can process files up to 20 GB, performs backups, and cross-platform migration.

  • Pros: Category leader in migration and backup, very broad data coverage including metafields, processes very large files, plans from $20 to $200/month.
  • Cons: The spreadsheet logic might seem technical to new users; editor conveniences like live preview and one-click undo are not as robust as Ablestar.

Example scenario: When migrating from WooCommerce, Ticimax, or İdeasoft to Shopify, it transfers all product, metafield, and order history with a single Excel file; you also take a full backup of the store before a major theme launch.

Ablestar Bulk Product Editor

Ablestar is designed for secure and product-focused bulk editing: select fields, apply filters, preview changes, apply. It works without requiring spreadsheets, offers live preview, scheduled editing, and one-click undo. It has the "Built for Shopify" badge.

  • Pros: Live preview, one-click undo (60 to 180 days history), scheduled editing, intuitive interface, inventory sync from external sources.
  • Cons: Focus is on product editing (not as broad for migration as Matrixify), entry plan is $30/month.

Example scenario: Schedule a configuration that automatically applies increased prices to all products of a specific brand at midnight; if there's an error, you can revert it with a single click.

Hextom: Bulk Product Edit

Hextom Bulk Product Edit is a cost-effective and versatile bulk editing tool: it performs rule-based, scheduled bulk updates on product, order, and customer data. The demo plan is free, and Basic starts from $9.99/month.

  • Pros: Affordable entry point, extensive bulk processing capabilities, scheduled and automated rules, high product limits.
  • Cons: The interface is not as polished as Ablestar; for very complex migration scenarios, Matrixify is more suitable.

Example scenario: You can automatically add the "Discount" tag to thousands of product titles for a sales campaign, and when the campaign ends, revert the change with a scheduled task, eliminating the need for manual corrections.

9. Product Bundling Apps

Bundles are one of the most effective ways to increase average order value (AOV): fixed sets, mix-and-match, or quantity discounts.

Bundle Works

Developed by Nodus Works, Bundle Works, allows you to create fixed bundles, mix-and-match offers, and quantity-based discounts without writing code, and supports conversion with clear messaging.

  • Pros: No-code setup, multiple bundle types, clear discount messaging, it's free.
  • Cons: In advanced fulfillment scenarios such as inventory splitting for 3PL/WMS, Simple Bundles offers more depth.

Example scenario: In furniture, it combines a sofa, coffee table, and rug into a fixed set with a "complete the look" logic, or for consumables, it sets up a "buy 3 get 2 free" offer.

Simple Bundles & Kits

Simple Bundles allows you to set up flexible bundles like mix-and-match, BYOB (build your own box), multipacks, and BOGO without code, while keeping inventory synchronized with 3PL/WMS/ERP by splitting it into sub-items (SKUs). With Infinite Options, you can exceed Shopify's variant limit.

  • Pros: Splits inventory by SKU (prevents overselling), 3PL/WMS/ERP compatibility, exceeds variant limit, starts with a free plan.
  • Cons: Infinite Options requires additional setup on the theme side, and for higher volumes, a paid plan is necessary.

Example scenario: When a customer selects 5 different products for a personalized gift box, the stock for each component is deducted individually, and the warehouse picks and packs each item separately.

Bundler

Popular bundling apps like Bundler typically offer classic bundles, volume discounts, and frequently bought together offers, often with a generous free plan.

  • Pros: Generous free plan, simple setup, quick results, economical for basic bundling and volume discount scenarios.
  • Cons: Does not offer complex inventory synchronization or advanced fulfillment, remaining limited for advanced needs.

Example scenario: A cosmetic brand tests "buy 2 get 1 free" and volume discounts with a free plan, then makes the successful offers permanent.

10. Loyalty Program Apps

A loyalty program is one of the most efficient ways to increase repeat purchases and LTV, especially as the cost of acquiring new customers rises. We covered this topic in our Shopify loyalty program guide in depth.

Loyalis

Loyalis, developed by us at Nodus Works, Loyalis, allows you to set up a coin (token)-based loyalty program: customers earn coins through actions like purchases, membership, birthdays, referrals, and reviews; they spend these on discounts, free shipping, gift cards, free products, or store credit. It includes VIP tiers and storefront widgets.

  • Pros: Rich earning/spending options, VIP tiers, product and cart page widgets, it's free.
  • Cons: Compared to Smile.io's massive integration ecosystem and maturity, it's a newer player.

Example scenario: To accelerate social proof for new products, you give coins to those who leave reviews, and you win back customers who haven't shopped for a long time by assigning them birthday coins.

Smile.io

Smile.io is the most popular loyalty app on Shopify: points, referrals, and VIP tiers are set up in minutes with a marketer-friendly interface. It is the only loyalty platform with both Built for Shopify and Technology Partner certifications.

  • Pros: Very common and mature, easy to set up, dual Shopify certification, free plan (up to 200 orders per month).
  • Cons: Integration access is limited by plan, VIP tiers unlock at the $199/month Growth plan, costs increase with scale.

Example scenario: A newly launched store sets up a points and referral program with the free plan to build its initial loyal customer base, then upgrades to VIP tiers as revenue grows.

LoyaltyLion

LoyaltyLion is designed for enterprise and API-first brands: highly flexible earn/spend rules, deep segmentation, multi-store support, and a loyalty experience embeddable in the storefront.

  • Pros: Highly flexible rule engine, full customization via API, multi-store support, advanced analytics.
  • Cons: No free plan, starts at approximately $399/month, customization often requires a developer.

Example scenario: A global brand with multiple country stores runs a single loyalty program synchronously across all storefronts, making customers' points valid in every store.

11. Ad Analytics Applications

Ad attribution became more complex after iOS privacy changes. Multi-channel analytics are essential to see accurate ROAS and CPA.

Peakmerce

Developed by Nodus Works, Peakmerce is a multi-channel marketing analytics app that integrates your store with Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads. It automatically tracks orders and attributes revenue to the correct channel, even for campaigns launched before connecting the app. It calculates true ROAS and CPA with 30/60/90-day rolling analysis.

  • Pros: Accurate multi-channel attribution, covers past campaigns, rolling period analysis, free.
  • Cons: Does not aim for enterprise-level measurement at the depth of Triple Whale's first-party pixel and AI operator or Northbeam's MMM modeling.

Example scenario: While the last-click model underreports TikTok's contribution, Peakmerce's multi-channel attribution reveals TikTok's true impact, allowing you to reallocate your budget accordingly.

Triple Whale

Triple Whale is an analytics platform built specifically for Shopify, powered by its first-party Triple Pixel: blended ROAS dashboards, post-purchase surveys, an AI operator named Moby, and multi-store reporting.

  • Pros: Shopify-native, first-party pixel, Moby AI, quick setup, free starter plan, starting at approximately $129/month based on GMV.
  • Cons: Advanced features and dedicated support become expensive at scale; MMM depth for very large brands is not as comprehensive as Northbeam.

Example scenario: With a post-purchase "how did you hear about us" survey, you can measure podcast or word-of-mouth traffic that no pixel captures, revealing the true channel contribution.

Northbeam

Northbeam is designed for advanced enterprise-scale measurement: machine learning-based attribution, media mix modeling (MMM), and incrementality testing. It operates platform-agnostically and is priced based on monthly media spend.

  • Pros: Deep statistical modeling, MMM, and incrementality are powerful for multi-channel, high-budget media mixes.
  • Cons: Starting at approximately $1,500/month, setup requires analyst-level effort, and it's overly comprehensive for small/medium stores.

Example scenario: A brand with six-figure monthly media spend measures how much sales actually dropped when it completely stops Meta (ads) with incrementality testing, and sees how much of the budget went to "customers who would have purchased anyway."

12. Stock and Price Synchronization Apps

If you work with multiple stores, suppliers, or ERPs, stock and price consistency prevents both overselling and the risk of incorrect pricing.

Stocks & Prices Sync Master

Developed by us at Nodus Works Stocks & Prices Sync Master, simplifies stock and price synchronization across multiple stores, helping you keep everything consistent from store to store.

  • Pros: Multi-store sync, single-purpose simplicity, it's free.
  • Cons: For multi-source feeds like supplier files, FTP, or Google Sheets, Stock Sync offers broader connection options.

Example scenario: You run a separate outlet store fed by your main store's inventory, ensuring stock remains automatically consistent across both storefronts.

Stock Sync (syncX)

Stock Sync is one of the most established solutions for inventory synchronization: it pulls stock from Google Sheets, FTP/SFTP, Dropbox, online files, or REST API, and offers rules such as scheduled price/markup updates and automatic removal of out-of-stock products.

  • Pros: Very broad source support (Sheets, FTP, API, ERP), scheduled sync, overselling prevention, CSV/XML/JSON.
  • Cons: Its rich features might seem complex to new users, and advanced scenarios require time for setup.

Example scenario: You automatically pull the stock file your supplier drops on FTP every morning, remove out-of-stock products from your store, and automatically republish new arrivals.

13. Currency and Gold Price Update Applications

For stores pricing based on jewelry, precious metals, or foreign currency, updating prices according to live exchange rates is vital. In international sales, showing customers prices in their own currency increases conversion.

Gold Prices & Exchange

Developed by Nodus Works, Gold Prices & Exchange, automatically updates product prices with real-time gold and currency exchange rates, and allows you to define a special coefficient (labor or profit) per product or variant.

  • Pros: Automatic pricing with live gold and currency exchange rates, product/variant coefficient, perfectly suited for the Turkish jewelry sector, free.
  • Cons: It updates the actual price (not just a visual conversion), so it serves different needs than a price display tool (Currency Converter).

Example scenario: A jeweler automatically updates 500 products every morning as gold prices change, defines the labor cost as a multiplier, and completely eliminates the hassle of manual price updates.

Currency Converter Plus

Currency Converter Plus automatically detects the customer's country via IP and displays prices in their local currency. It supports 222 currencies (including crypto and precious metals) and updates exchange rates every minute.

  • Pros: Automatic country detection, very extensive currency list, minute-by-minute exchange rate updates, Shopify Markets compatibility, approximately $9.99/month.
  • Cons: It does not actually change the price; it only performs a visual conversion (collection is made in the store's base currency).

Example scenario: A brand selling internationally eliminates the friction of "let me calculate the exchange rate in my head" and increases conversion by automatically showing prices in euros to visitors from Germany.

14. Mobile App Builder Apps

As the loyal customer base grows, a native mobile app becomes a valuable channel for push notifications and a higher repeat purchase rate.

Shopney

Shopney is the app we've placed first in this category, and for a clear reason: with over 3,000 brands giving 5-star ratings, it clearly stands out in maturity, support quality, and a conversion-focused feature set for no-code mobile app creation. It offers a drag-and-drop editor, unlimited and AI-powered push notifications, live selling, AR, localization in 21 languages, and powerful integrations with platforms like Klaviyo, Rebuy, and Gorgias. It does not take commission from your sales.

  • Pros: Industry-leading user satisfaction and support, unlimited push notifications, live selling and AR, no commission, rich integration ecosystem, multi-store support (on higher plans).

Example scenario: During a new collection launch, instead of expensive advertising, you can reach your existing audience for free by sending push notifications to app users, creating a sales surge in the first few hours.

Nodmob

Our product, developed by Nodus Works, Nodmob, allows you to create and publish your store's iOS and Android app without writing code, offers push notifications and a native mobile experience, and includes the publishing and maintenance process.

  • Pros: Onboarding, publishing, and maintenance included with the free plan, offloads technical and operational burden to a single partner, Turkish support.
  • Cons: Has not yet reached the extensive integration ecosystem established by Shopney and Tapcart over the years; advanced features like live selling are on the roadmap.

Example scenario: A brand venturing into mobile apps for the first time can transition to a native channel without dealing with technical details, by leaving the App Store and Play Store publishing processes and maintenance to us.

Vajro

Vajro is a strong contender in the mid-segment among no-code mobile app builders: live selling, push notifications, automation, and real-time product data synchronization.

  • Pros: Ease of use, powerful live selling tools, extensive feature set, starting from approximately $99/month.
  • Cons: May not offer as deep customization as Tapcart for enterprise-level needs.

Example scenario: A brand selling via live streams on Instagram can set up the same live selling experience within the app and direct viewers instantly to their cart.

Tapcart

Tapcart is the leading mobile app platform for the enterprise segment: deep UI customization, a robust integration ecosystem, and scalable push campaigns.

  • Pros: Very deep customization, enterprise integrations, strong brand experience, proven with large brands.
  • Cons: Pricing starts at approximately $249/month and scales up to high enterprise tiers, which can be costly for smaller brands.

Example scenario: A brand with over $5M in revenue fully customizes the app to its design language, transforming the mobile channel into a strategic revenue center.

15. Email and SMS Marketing Apps

Email and SMS are owned channels that provide the highest return on investment. Two giants stand out in this category.

Omnisend

Omnisend combines email, SMS, and web push in the same automation flow and stands out for its price/performance balance. It offers a free plan for up to 250 contacts, and the Standard plan is approximately $16/month for 500 contacts.

  • Pros: Email, SMS, and push in a single flow, ready-made workflows, more affordable than Klaviyo at most subscriber tiers, quick setup.
  • Cons: Predictive analytics and advanced segmentation depth are not as robust as Klaviyo, and as of 2026, SMS will only be available in the Pro plan for new customers.

Example scenario: A newly launched store can deploy welcome, abandoned cart, and browse abandonment automations with ready-made templates in a single day, initiating its first automated revenue.

Klaviyo

Klaviyo is the standard for data-driven marketing: granular segmentation, predictive analytics (estimated CLV, churn), a powerful flow engine, and very deep integration with Shopify.

  • Pros: Deepest segmentation and predictive analytics, powerful flow engine, very broad integration, free for up to 250 contacts.
  • Cons: Price at scale is higher than Omnisend, SMS is a separate add-on, steeper learning curve.

Example scenario: You reward your most valuable audience by segmenting customers with high estimated lifetime value and giving them early access to new collections.

16. Product Review Apps

Social proof is one of the most powerful conversion triggers. Photo and video-backed reviews boost both trust and SEO.

Judge.me

Judge.me is clearly ahead in terms of price-to-feature balance: even on the free plan, it offers unlimited review requests, photo/video reviews, and rich snippets. The paid Awesome plan is a fixed $15/month, regardless of order volume.

  • Pros: Unlimited reviews and visuals on the free plan, fixed and predictable $15/month pricing, Google Shopping and 130+ integrations, strong security.
  • Cons: Default design is not as polished as Loox, visual review collection rate might not be as high as Loox.

Example scenario: A new store with a limited budget can collect unlimited reviews with a free plan and earn star ratings in Google rich results without paying a fee.

Loox

Loox is a visual-first review app: widgets that maximize photo/video review collection, automatic discount incentives, stylish galleries, a built-in referral program, and post-purchase upsells.

  • Pros: The industry's highest visual review collection rate, stylish galleries, discount incentives, referral, and upsell modules.
  • Cons: Pricing is tiered by order volume and is more expensive than Judge.me, only supports Shopify.

Example scenario: A fashion brand displays photo reviews as a gallery on the product page and also uses customer photos as user-generated content (UGC) in its advertisements.

17. Upsell / Cross-sell Apps

Upselling and cross-selling are proven ways to increase average order value. We detailed the strategies in our cross-sell and upsell guide .

Bundle Works

Developed by Nodus Works, Bundle Works is a classic cross-sell and AOV tool with bundle and quantity discounts: it establishes the "buy together, save" and "frequently bought together" logic at the product and cart stages.

  • Pros: No-code, free, bundle-based value addition, clear offer in the cart.
  • Cons: It's not as deep as Zipify OCU or ReConvert in terms of one-click post-purchase funnels after checkout.

Example scenario: By offering a complementary accessory in a discounted bundle with the main product, you achieve a higher average order value instead of a single sale.

ReConvert (Upsell.com)

ReConvert, rebranded as Upsell.com in 2026, is famous for its thank-you page editor: drag-and-drop widgets, surveys, countdown timers, a birthday collector, and one-click post-purchase upsells. It now also includes pre-order bumps and Plus checkout offers.

  • Pros: Highly flexible thank-you page editor, one-click post-purchase upsells, free tier (up to 49 orders per month), suitable for businesses of all sizes.
  • Cons: The wide range of features can sometimes dilute focus; OCU is more specialized in advanced funnel logic.

Example scenario: By adding a "how did you hear about us" survey to the thank-you page, you collect attribution data and also make additional sales with one-click upsells on the same page.

Zipify OCU (One Click Upsell)

Zipify OCU is a Shopify Plus certified solution designed for full-funnel upsells: multi-step funnels, conditional logic, A/B testing, and AI-powered optimization across product pages, cart, checkout (Plus), post-purchase, and thank-you pages.

  • Pros: Placement throughout the entire purchase journey, conditional funnels (downsell if rejected), robust A/B testing, performance-based pricing.
  • Cons: It might be overkill for small stores, starting at around $35/month or 1% of upsell revenue.

Example scenario: If the customer declines the initial upsell offer, you automatically show a more suitable downsell and recover revenue you would have lost on a single offer.

18. Page Builder Apps

For custom landing pages, campaign pages, and product pages, no-code page builders provide speed and flexibility.

PageFly

PageFly is the page builder with the largest user base: over 130 templates, homepage, product, collection, blog, and landing page support, and custom CSS.

  • Pros: Extensive template variety, largest user base, low entry cost (Builder $24/month), 24/7 live support.
  • Cons: Cost increases as you publish more pages in the pay-as-you-grow model, no native A/B testing, requires speed management for many pages.

Example scenario: By setting up individual custom landing pages for ad campaigns, with a message and design perfectly tailored to each campaign, you increase conversion.

GemPages

GemPages offers unlimited published pages starting from its first paid plan: Build plan at $29/month, Optimize at $59/month, which includes built-in A/B testing and analytics. Its AI Image-to-Layout tool, which converts mockup images into editable sections, stands out.

  • Pros: Unlimited pages from the first paid plan, built-in A/B testing, CRO-focused section library, AI image-to-design tool.
  • Cons: Annual billing removed for new customers (monthly payment), speed optimization is still required for heavy pages.

Example scenario: You compare two different versions of the homepage hero section using internal A/B testing and determine the winning design without purchasing a separate testing tool.

19. Live Chat / Chatbot Solutions

Quick responses increase both conversions and customer satisfaction. The choice depends on whether you need pre-sales chat or high-volume ticket management.

Tidio

Tidio is one of the easiest live chat platforms to set up: a drag-and-drop chatbot, proactive messaging with an active visitor list, and the Lyro AI assistant.

  • Pros: Generous free plan, very easy setup, sales-focused proactive messaging, and a quickly deployable chatbot.
  • Cons: Lyro AI is priced as a separate add-on and can increase the true cost; conversation-based fees increase with high volume.

Example scenario: You convert undecided customers into sales by sending an automatic "Can I help you?" message to visitors who stay on a specific product page for longer than 60 seconds.

Gorgias

Gorgias is a Shopify-specific helpdesk solution: order management in every chat (returns, edits), multi-channel ticket merging, and automation.

  • Pros: Shopify-native order management, omnichannel ticketing, powerful automation, high efficiency at high volume.
  • Cons: Ticket-based pricing increases rapidly, AI Agent is charged separately per solution, no permanent free plan.

Example scenario: A store receiving hundreds of "where is my order" and return requests daily shortens resolution time by allowing agents to process returns and create new shipments without leaving the chat.

20. Subscription Apps

Subscription infrastructure for a recurring revenue model radically changes LTV across many categories, from coffee to cosmetics.

Recharge

Recharge is the most mature platform in the subscription space: deep churn and retention tools, a broad integration ecosystem, build-a-box, and native Shopify checkout. The Starter plan is $99/month plus 1.49% per transaction plus $0.19.

  • Pros: Mature product, powerful retention tools, broad ecosystem, native checkout, ideal for complex billing.
  • Cons: High base fee and fixed fee per order, initially heavy for small brands.

Example scenario: A coffee brand sets up a monthly subscription where customers build their own box (build-a-box), retaining high-churn-risk customers by sending timely offers using a churn prediction tool.

Bold Subscriptions

Bold Subscriptions stands out for its affordability: the Launch plan is $24.99/month plus 2%, Grow is $49.99/month plus 1%. There is no fixed fee per order, and new stores can start for free for up to 90 days.

  • Pros: Low entry cost, no fixed fee per order, 90 days free for new stores, native checkout.
  • Cons: Not as deep as Recharge in retention and portfolio features, percentage-based fees accumulate at scale.

Example scenario: A new vitamin brand tests a subscription model by keeping costs low, seeing if the model works risk-free during the 90-day free period.

21. Print on Demand Apps

Print on demand (POD) is the most practical way to sell custom products without inventory. There are three different approaches in this category.

Printful

Printful is a vertically integrated POD provider: thanks to its own facilities, it offers consistent print quality and faster, more reliable shipping. Subscription is not mandatory; it charges per product.

  • Pros: Consistent quality (low return rate), 19 platform integrations, warehousing service, strong brand experience.
  • Cons: Base product costs are higher than Printify, less flexibility for margin optimization.

Example scenario: A premium brand, where brand consistency is critical, produces logo t-shirts with the same color calibration in every batch and delivers the exact same product for repeat purchases.

Printify

Printify is a marketplace model that brings together over 80 third-party print providers: a much wider catalog and lower base costs.

  • Pros: Very wide catalog, low base cost, 20% discount with Premium plan, flexibility to choose providers.
  • Cons: Quality and speed vary by provider, providers need to be vetted for consistency.

Example scenario: A margin-focused operator shortens shipping times by selecting the most cost-effective provider for trending products and having the same product printed by different manufacturers for different regions.

Zakeke

Zakeke combines the POD world with product personalization: customers live-customize products with text, images, colors, and fonts, and see realistic 3D previews and virtual try-ons (AR). Every order automatically converts into a print-ready file and connects to POD providers.

  • Pros: Live 2D/3D customizer, AR and virtual try-on, automatic print-ready file, POD integration, reduces production workload.
  • Cons: In addition to the monthly fee, it charges a 1.5% to 1.9% transaction fee on personalized products sold; pricing starts at $69.90/month.

Example scenario: A brand selling jewelry with engraved names or mugs with custom text eliminates manual design work by showing the customer's entered text in live 3D and automatically generating a laser-cutting-ready file for the order.

22. Dropshipping Apps

In dropshipping, the right sourcing tool determines the fate of a store through shipping time, product cost, and depth of automation.

DSers

DSers is the official AliExpress dropshipping partner and has become the de facto standard after Oberlo's closure: bulk order processing in seconds, supplier optimization, and pricing rules.

  • Pros: Its free plan covers 3 stores and 3,000 products, bulk order processing, supplier optimization, tight AliExpress integration.
  • Cons: Long shipping times from China, risk of inconsistent quality for AliExpress-sourced products.

Example scenario: An operator testing a new niche quickly imports dozens of products with the free plan and scales by bulk processing hundreds of orders with a single click for winning products.

Spocket

Spocket is a curated marketplace primarily composed of US and EU suppliers: it prioritizes customer experience with 2 to 7-day local shipping and branded invoicing.

  • Pros: Fast local shipping, branded invoicing, vetted US/EU suppliers, suitable for high AOV niches.
  • Cons: Higher product costs and monthly fees compared to DSers (starting from $39.99), catalog not as extensive as AliExpress.

Example scenario: A home decor brand works with suppliers offering 3-day US domestic shipping, approaching Amazon's speed and eliminating the "3-week wait" objection.

Oberlo (closed)

To be honest, we're including Oberlo in this list for historical accuracy: Oberlo, by Shopify Permanently shut down on June 15, 2022 and removed from the App Store. If you still see advice somewhere saying "use Oberlo," that information is outdated.

  • Pros: It was a pioneering app that popularized AliExpress dropshipping in its time, loved for its simple interface.
  • Cons: No longer available, new installations cannot be made.

Example scenario: If you are an old Oberlo user or following an old guide, you need to switch to DSers, which Shopify officially directs users to; DSers offered the option to migrate Oberlo data with a few clicks.

23. Abandoned Cart Apps

Abandoned carts represent the easiest revenue to recover. The strategy here typically combines a strong email/SMS flow with checkout recovery.

Klaviyo (Flow)

Klaviyo's flow (automation) infrastructure is the most powerful engine for abandoned cart recovery: you can set up multi-step email and SMS sequences, personalized by segments, triggered by browsing and cart abandonment behavior.

  • Pros: The industry's most powerful flow engine, deep segmentation, personalization enriched with product data, measurable.
  • Cons: Ideal if you already use Klaviyo; switching to Klaviyo solely for cart recovery might be a significant investment.

Example scenario: You set up a tiered flow that sends a reminder to customers who leave products worth over 1,000 TL in their cart within the first hour, and a second email with a small discount code after 24 hours.

CartHook

CartHook focuses specifically on checkout and post-purchase funnel and recovery scenarios for Shopify Plus stores: post-purchase offers, one-click upsells, and conversion-focused flows.

  • Pros: Checkout and post-purchase focused, one-click upsells, powerful for high-volume stores.
  • Cons: Starts at approximately $50/month, primarily caters to large and Plus stores.

Example scenario: By setting up your email flow with Klaviyo and enhancing the checkout experience with CartHook, you can both recover abandoned carts and drive upsells at the moment of purchase.

24. Google Shopping / Feed Management Apps

A clean and optimized product feed is essential for advertising on Google, Meta, and Microsoft. For the process, our ad account setup guide provides guidance.

Critical Note: Google indicates August 18, 2026, as the transition date to the Merchant API, which replaces the Content API for Shopping. After this date, integrations sending feeds via the old API may cease to function. Confirm today from the app's release notes or support team that your feed application has completed the Merchant API transition.

Simprosys Google Shopping Feed

Simprosys is one of the most comprehensive tools for feed management: it sends feeds to Google, Meta, Microsoft (Bing), Pinterest, and over 15 other platforms. It offers bulk editing, automatic feed rules, metafield mapping, PMAX campaign management, and GA4/Consent Mode v2 tracking.

  • Pros: Very broad platform support, powerful feed rules and bulk editing, PMAX management, starts from $4.99/month, 21-day trial.
  • Cons: Feature richness might seem complex to new users, priced by product count.

Example scenario: With feed rules, you can automatically enrich titles based on search intent (e.g., by adding brand and model) without modifying your store's content, thereby increasing your Google Shopping click-through rate.

Google & YouTube (GMC channel)

Google's own official channel app directly connects Shopify to Merchant Center, offering automatic product sync, Performance Max, Product Studio (AI visual), and YouTube ad integration.

  • Pros: Google's official solution, free (only ad spend), very simple setup, YouTube and Product Studio AI.
  • Cons: Limited advanced feed customization, focused solely on the Google ecosystem. Should not be used with Simprosys for the same Merchant Center (creates duplicate listings).

Example scenario: A store that only runs Google Shopping and YouTube ads and doesn't require advanced feed rules can establish a Merchant Center connection with a single click and go live in minutes.

Feedfix

Feedfix is a valuable XML import/export and feed management tool, especially for the Turkish market. It creates custom feeds for platforms like Akakçe, TradeDoubler, Awin, Glami, Heureka, and TikTok, in addition to Google and Meta. It supports multi-language, multi-market, and multi-currency operations, and also imports products with advanced filtering.

  • Pros: Broad channel support, including Turkish price comparison sites (e.g., Akakçe), custom XML feed creation, powerful filtering, multi-market/language/currency.
  • Cons: Unlike Simprosys, it's not as deeply focused on campaign management (PMAX); its main focus is on feed creation and distribution.

Example scenario: A store in Turkey wishing to appear on price comparison sites like Akakçe and Cimri can use Feedfix to create and automatically update custom XML feeds in the format required by each platform.

25. Shipping and Shipping Tracking Applications

Shipping is one of the most critical areas determining customer satisfaction and support load in e-commerce. We have covered shipping integration in detail specifically for Turkey in our Shopify shipping integration guide . Here, we summarize both global tracking and Turkish shipping carrier integrations.

AfterShip Order Tracking

AfterShip is the industry standard for post-purchase tracking: it supports over 1,100 carriers, offers a branded tracking page, automatic email/SMS notifications, and AI-powered estimated delivery date (EDD).

  • Pros: 1,100+ carriers, branded tracking page, reduces WISMO ("where is my order") calls, free plan (up to 50 tracks per month), analytics.
  • Cons: It is not a shipping label/shipment creation tool (it's tracking-focused); advanced features are available in higher-tier plans.

Example scenario: With a branded tracking page and automatic SMS notifications, you largely eliminate "where is my order" questions and reduce your support team's workload.

Geliver and Turkish shipping middleware solutions

To manage multiple shipping carriers like Yurtiçi, Aras, MNG, Sürat, and PTT from a single panel in Turkey, middleware platforms such as Geliver, Kargoist, ShipEntegra, and Entegrasyonum.com are used. These offer automatic label printing, rule-based courier selection, and bulk shipment creation.

  • Pros: Multiple shipping carriers in one panel, automatic labels and bulk shipments, rule-based selection of the cheapest/fastest courier, quick setup (approx. 15 minutes).
  • Cons: Requires a monthly subscription (approx. $15 to $80), some carriers (e.g., MNG) require a minimum monthly shipment commitment, tracking delays may occur with periodic queries.

Example scenario: You set up a rule that automatically selects a shipping carrier based on order weight or delivery province, sending to small districts in Anatolia with Yurtiçi's extensive branch network, and to large cities with the most suitable contracted carrier.

26. Return Management Applications

The return process is a hidden cost and support burden for most stores. The right return application not only automates returns but also protects revenue by converting returns into exchanges or store credit.

AfterShip Returns & Exchanges

AfterShip Returns is the safest overall choice for most stores: self-service return portal, multi-carrier label automation, automated return rules, and extensive integrations. It has the largest review base.

  • Pros: Very large user base, self-service portal, multi-carrier support, free plan (3 returns/month), Built for Shopify.
  • Cons: Does not offer as deep exchange-first revenue recovery tools as Loop, paid plans start from $23/month.

Example scenario: A store with international return volume enables customers to generate their own shipping labels from the portal, making the return process completely independent of the support team.

Return Prime

Return Prime is an affordable and highly-rated option: a self-service return/exchange portal, a generous free tier, and plans starting from $9.99/month. It's ideal for small and medium-sized stores.

  • Pros: Generous free tier, affordable pricing, easy setup, exchange and return support, over 100 integrations.
  • Cons: At an enterprise scale, it's not at the level of Loop's advanced revenue recovery features.

Example scenario: A new store with fewer than 20 returns per month sets up a professional return portal with the free plan and builds trust by providing customers with return tracking via email.

Loop Returns & Exchanges

Loop Returns is the market leader in exchange-first revenue recovery: it directs returns towards exchanges instead of refunds with tools like Instant Exchange, Shop Now, and Bonus Credit. Over 5,000 brands use it.

  • Pros: The most powerful exchange-first flows, revenue recovery tools, fraud prevention, order editing, and tracking, all in one.
  • Cons: Pricing starts from $155/month (advanced features $340/month), making it only suitable for brands with high return volumes.

Example scenario: You instantly provide store credit to a customer requesting a return via "Shop Now" and direct them to shop immediately, thereby converting the money into a new order instead of issuing a refund.

ReturnGO

ReturnGO is a powerful, flexible, and policy-driven exchange-first alternative for the mid-market: it offers custom rules, store credit, a branded portal, and sustainability-focused options. It starts from $23/month.

  • Pros: Very flexible policy and rule engine, exchange and store credit focused, branded portal, affordable for the mid-market.
  • Cons: No permanent free plan (trial available), at the highest scale, Loop's ecosystem is broader.

Example scenario: To encourage size exchanges, you can set a rule like "shipping is on us if you choose a different size of the same product," steering returns towards exchanges rather than refunds.

27. Multilingual / Translation Apps

In international growth, localization is crucial for both conversion and SEO. We discussed the management of Turkish and English in our multilingual store setup guide .

Weglot

Weglot is considered the standard in automatic and SEO-friendly translation: translation in over 110 languages with DeepL, Google, and Microsoft engines, 5-minute setup, hreflang tags, and a clean multilingual URL structure. It offers a custom AI language model that learns your brand's voice.

  • Pros: Very fast automatic setup, high translation quality, strong SEO (hreflang, clean URLs), visual editor, free plan.
  • Cons: The proxy-based structure may require fine-tuning on some custom themes, and the price increases with volume (starts from $17/month).

Example scenario: A brand looking to quickly expand its Turkish store to English automatically translates all content in minutes, then manually refines only key product descriptions in the visual editor.

Langify

Langify is a well-established translation app offering manual-first, precise control: granular control over each translated item, an SEO-friendly structure, and RTL language support. It also includes an automatic translation option.

  • Pros: Granular manual control, SEO-friendly (hreflang, subfolder/subdomain), RTL language support, approximately $17.50/month.
  • Cons: Setup and manual editing require more effort, no visual translation, and some dynamic content may require additional configuration.

Example scenario: A luxury brand that demands full control over translation quality and meticulously manages its brand language word by word will manually approve every text in Langify instead of relying on automatic translation.

28. Accounting / ERP Integration Apps

For accurate financial statements, Shopify data must flow seamlessly into the accounting system. The typical approach here involves a ledger plus a reconciliation layer.

QuickBooks

QuickBooks Online is an accountant-friendly, widely used general ledger. Plans start around $35, with inventory features unlocking at the Plus tier.

  • Pros: Widely used and accountant-friendly, flexible, powerful reporting, and a robust e-commerce ledger when paired with A2X.
  • Cons: Cannot cleanly reconcile Shopify payouts on its own, and is not e-commerce specific.

Example scenario: In a business where your accountant already uses QuickBooks, you can stay in a familiar environment and correctly transfer your Shopify data to that ledger using A2X.

A2X

A2X splits Shopify (and Amazon) payouts into sales, commissions, refunds, and tax line items, sending them as payout-accurate accounting entries to QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or NetSuite, and reconciles them with the bank feed.

  • Pros: Payout-accurate reconciliation, multi-accounting software support, no feature limitations by tier, pricing based on order volume (starting from $29/month).
  • Cons: It is not an accounting software (it's a reconciliation layer), so it won't be sufficient on its own.

Example scenario: You automatically separate sales, commissions, refunds, and VAT items within a Shopify payout, eliminating the question "what is this money for?" when looking at a single entry in your accounting ledger.

FAQ: Shopify App Selection

How many apps are ideal to install for a Shopify store?

There's no definitive number, but the "less is more" rule applies. Every app contributes to theme speed and code load. Go based on need: first, establish essentials like legal compliance (KVKK, ETBIS) and SEO/schema, then add growth tools like loyalty, reviews, and marketing. Never run two apps that do the same thing simultaneously.

Are free apps sufficient?

In many scenarios, yes. For example, most Nodus Works apps (CompliTR, Collection Wizard, Easy Wholesale & B2B, Gold Prices & Exchange, Loyalis) offer free plans, and even Judge.me's free plan provides unlimited reviews. Make the decision to upgrade to a paid plan based on the measurable increase in revenue or efficiency the app brings. The total cost at scale, not the initial fee, is the determining factor.

Is Oberlo still available?

No. Oberlo was permanently shut down by Shopify on June 15, 2022, and removed from the App Store. The official alternative recommended by Shopify for AliExpress-based dropshipping is DSers. It was possible to migrate your old Oberlo data to DSers with a few clicks.

Which app should I use for shipping integration in Turkey?

For less than 200 orders per month, Yurtiçi or Aras Kargo's official solutions are sufficient for most stores. Those who wish to manage multiple shipping companies from a single panel use middleware platforms like Geliver, Kargoist, or ShipEntegra. AfterShip is ideal for branded tracking and notifications post-purchase. You can find all the details on this topic in our Shopify shipping integration guide .

Do apps slow down my store?

Poorly written or unnecessarily stacked apps can slow it down. To reduce the risk, prefer apps with the "Built for Shopify" badge that utilize Shopify's native infrastructure (Functions, Markets, Flow), completely remove those you don't use (don't leave remnants in the theme code), and ensure that duplicate code is not generated, especially with page builder and schema apps.

How should I choose between Nodus Works apps and their alternatives?

If your needs are specific to Turkey (KVKK, ETBİS, gold-foreign exchange prices) or if you're looking for a budget-friendly, simple solution, Nodus Works apps are a strong starting point, and most are free. If you need highly advanced features at an enterprise scale (e.g., advanced MMM attribution or multi-store loyalty), choose the global leader in that category. The healthiest approach is to build the foundational layer with Nodus and add specialized tools as specific needs arise.

Conclusion

Success on Shopify comes not from individual "best" apps, but from building the right combination of apps that fit your store's actual needs.
