For over 15 years, Mutlu Dükkan has been one of the leading names in boutique pastry making in Turkey. The brand wanted to bring its artisanal production approach to the web and offer an ordering experience where customers could customize their cakes from start to finish.Because these types of custom orders involve so many options, they often become complex and tedious on most websites. Our priority was to transform all these options into a simple, step-by-step flow without overwhelming the customer.Customers first select the size, then the cream and filling, followed by figures and decorations, and finally add their message and delivery date. We built a reassuring, conversion-focused experience where they can see exactly what they are ordering at every step. For mobile, we designed a simple flow that can be easily used with one hand.We also treated the brand's educational and content side as a growth channel; pages supported by cake and design content made the brand significantly more visible in search results.

Measurable growth in conversion and order value

The project delivered outstanding business results. The conversion rate increased from 1.4% to 3.1%, a rise of approximately 121%, while the average order value grew by 58%, from 580 TL to 920 TL. The mobile conversion rate rose from 0.9% to 2.4%, and the time to complete an order dropped from 8.2 minutes to 4.5 minutes.Customers can now personalize their own cakes step-by-step and place orders with full visibility of what they are buying. This experience has transformed the brand from just a bakery into a personal gift and design brand.The content side has also strengthened: educational and recipe pages now receive over 3,000 organic visits per month, with a 14% conversion rate from these pages to product orders. Ultimately, Mutlu Dükkan has achieved measurable and sustainable growth in both online sales and education.
